RinkSport Hockey

RinkSport was started by the staff of the fist US National Team and was modeled after the training camps for the elite US players at the time.  The goal was to bring the best staff and most current technical knowledge to those who were aspiring to become elite players.  Several Olympians have attended RinkSport camps, but more impressive are the countless college players who spent their summers with us while in high school.

We offered our first girls hockey camp in 1993, and by 1995, RinkSport was running camps all across North America, including Alaska, Colorado, Texas, Minnesota, Massachusetts, Vancouver and almost every place in between!  Some summers would see up to 14 different locations jammed into an 8 week summer! 

After several years of barnstorming the US and Canada, we settled in at Colorado College in Colorado Springs, CO for 6 years.  This camp was very well received, however, the location was a bit far from any colleges that offered women's hockey...so we decided to bring the camp back to the East Coast.  We selected the University of Rhode Island as our home for the next 6 years, and thoroughly enjoyed the proximity to many eastern colleges and the relaxed RI pace.

However, in 2010, we were on the move again, hoping to be closer to the major academic center of Boston, MA.  Fortunately, we landed at Babson College which is about 25 minutes west of the city in Wellesley. Babson holds a special place for many of the players and coaches who paved the way for women's hockey back in the late 80's, as this was the site of one of the most popular girls hockey camps in those days.  

RinkSport's success can be attributed to the excellent coaches, counselors, and especially campers that we have had over the years.  Many of our staff have been with RinkSport for over 10 years, and we take great pride in our programs. We very much appreciate all the support over the past 20 years and look forward to the next phase of our growth.
